Nvidia Tegra Zone highlights Tegra 2 Android games
Shiny Apps now in one convenient place
With new dual-core Nvidia Tegra 2 chipsets finding their way into devices, apps are already starting to capitalise on the new hardware's extra grunt.
To that end, Nvidia today launched the Tegra Zone. It's not a fully fledged app store of its own, but rather a free app, that simply showcases Tegra 2-optimised Android apps and files them neatly in one place.
Tegra Zone has two sections, Spotlight and Games. The Games section gives you a detailed rundown of each title, and presents you with a handy link to the Android Market. Spotlight promotes featured games, new releases, and the like.
It's clean, easy, and looks considerably more accessible than the Android Market itself.
Tegra 2 games available at launch include Fruit Ninja THD, Backbreaker THD, Galaxy On Fire 2, and Samurai II: Vengence.
