We've written about NOM before: it's an innovative platform game that was originally released in South Korea back in 2003, and arguably pioneered the one-thumb mobile gaming genre (Gamevil, its developer, also made Skipping Stone).

The game sees you controlling a stick-man who has to run along, jumping over pits, platforms and flaming obstacles, with you rotating your mobile regularly when he leaps onto walls and starts running up them too.

It's just been announced that NOM is being launched in the US, complete with a sweepstake competition for gamers to win high-definition tellies and top-range iPods. Which is great news if you're on the other side of the Atlantic, but what about us Europeans?

We asked Gamevil's Allen Lee if NOM is coming to our shores anytime soon, and it's good news. Kind of. "NOM for Europe is in the works," he told us, promising further details as soon as they're finalised.

Needless to say, click 'Track It!' to hear as soon as we do.
