Nokia slashes 26 Ovi game prices to £1: Doodle Jump, Fieldrunners, Bejeweled Twist

By way of a post on the Ovi blog, Nokia has announced that it will discount 26 games on the Ovi Store for a month, until August 12th.

The selection on offer includes some gems, with Doodle Jump, Fieldrunners, Bejeweled Twist, California Gold Rush, Pac-Man Championship Edition, and several other well-regarded titles available for a pound, a euro, a dollar, 'or the equivalent in your local currency '.

You'll note that a pound and a dollar aren't really equivalent. As is evident in the App Store's pricing structure, a dollar is worth about 59p, so if you're in the US you have it better than we do in Europe. As usual.
