Tapulous' latest artist specific spin-off of the 30-million downloaded Tap Tap series, Nirvana Revenge, is now available from the App Store.

The game largely speaks for the itself; it's the screen-tapping rhythm game Tap Tap Revenge, but with Nirvana tracks and a grungy 90s aesthetic to seal the deal.

You can play against a friend over Bluetooth, there are four boss tracks which are played in landscape, a band history section and snippets from Nirvana talk radio while tracks load.

The game features ten songs, or 13 if you count duplicates with live versions, including such head-banging classics as Smells Like Teen Spirit and Heart Shaped Box.

The full track listing is:

All Apologies (In Utero, 1993)
Breed (Nevermind, 1991)
Breed (Live at Reading, 2009)
Come As You Are (Nevermind, 1991)
Heart Shaped Box (In Utero, 1993)
In Bloom (Nevermind, 1991)
Lithium (Nevermind, 1991)

Nirvana Revenge is available now on iPhone and iPod touch for $4.99 / £2.99 / €3.99.
