Extend the 3DS battery life with the Universal Gadget Wrist Charger

The battery life of the Nintendo 3DS is proving to be quite an issue, with a single charge lasting just four hours - if you're lucky.

Nyko's Power Pak+ is set to double that battery life, but it looks rather bulky. The Universal Gadget Wrist Charger, on the other hand, may prove a little too nerdy for some.

Attaching to your wrist like a regular watch, this device can plug straight into your 3DS and provide mains power on the go, reports Destructoid.

Although no details are given regarding how much more battery life the wrist charger will supply, the description seems to suggest that it will at least match the Power Pak+.

Of course, it does mean that while you're not playing on your 3DS you'll have a band strapped to your wrist that's doing, well, not a lot.

Perhaps if it came with a watch we'd be a little more interested.
