Rumour: 10 games and 900k units for Euro 3DS launch

So, will you be jumping aboard the Nintendo 3DS bandwagon this March?

It’s looking like a slightly tougher choice for Euro gamers than our friends in the US, with current prices (as set by the retailers) in the UK hovering around £220-£230.

Early Euro adopters can expect to find 10 games available on launch day, according to reports. Among those titles, the likes of Nintendogs + Cats, Super Street Fighter IV and PES 2011 3D are dead certs to feature on March 25th.

Additionally, Ubisoft has confirmed that it will have four 3DS title on the shelves come launch day: Asphalt 3D, Rayman 3D, Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Shadow Wars 3D and Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell 3D.

In terms of European 3DS availability, one MCV estimate has put the likely number of units available at 900,000, which will arrive “during a three week launch period.”

That doesn’t sound like an awful lot, if Nintendo’s prediction that the 3DS will be its biggest ever launch comes to pass. Contrary to our earlier advice, maybe you should think about pre-ordering soon after all.
