At its European press conference, Nintendo announced three partnerships that will bring extra content to the 3DS, and get it online.

BT will use its BT Fon wi-fi hub connections found around Britain to give the console a near constant connection to the web, so you’ll always be able to download 3DS content when out and about.

What content? Well how about short 3D videos from Sky 3D, or three dimensional sporting events from Eurosport. There are also one-minute shorts featuring Aardman Entertainment’s Shaun the Sheep.

These are just a couple of content providers that will be making 3D content either specifically tailored towards or exclusive to the 3D handeld, throughout 2011.
