Sony CE President slams glasses-free 3D

Commenting on the 3DS for Japanese publication SankeiBiz, Sony Computer Entertainment president Kaz Hirai has said that 3D visuals viewed with the naked eye lack precision, and there are limitations to the technology.
While Hirai hadn’t seen the 3DS at the point of commenting, his remarks come from research into handheld, 3D visuals seen with the naked eye.
Sony’s core focus with 3D will be traditional glasses based affairs on the PlayStation 3, and the PSP won’t be following the 3DS’s lead any time soon.
