It’s great to see mobile phone developers innovating in the face of stiff competition from the likes of the technologically advanced iPhone, and now we have the world’s first motion controlled mobile game, Ninja Strike, which we first reported on back in April ’08.

The game is the first to use Israeli-developed EyeSight technology, which uses the handset’s camera to detect movement and translate it to on-screen action - in this case, throwing shuriken stars at attacking ninja.

Ninja Strike pits you against the evil Kurai ninja as you go on an assassin’s quest across 10 levels. We should have a full review for you very shortly, but in the meantime check out this video demonstrating Ninja Strike’s EyeSight technology at work.
