Nexus Two is still being produced by Samsung

Samsung rebuttal simply a poor translation

Nexus Two is still being produced by Samsung

The blog that claimed the Nexus Two was being produced by Samsung has responded to claims of an official denial.

The quote from a Samsung spokesperson published on Korean website Danawa stating that the Nexus Two rumour “is simply not true” has been poorly translated, says Android and Me.

It’s easy to see its point when you read the quote in its full Google Translate-powered context:

“Samsung Electronics, “is simply not true,” put out a position, but in the meantime, Google and Samsung is the industry Galaxy S, Galaxy boyeoon work closely enough at the tab with the possibility to launch Google phone is reported to be greater.”

Clear as mud, then.

The garbled quote is far from a flat out denial, says the blog, and the final phrase of “the possibility to launch Google phone is reported to be greater” could just as easily be used to support its claims.

The possibility of a Google Experience phone from Samsung remains a distinct and enticing one.

But whether it will actually be called the Nexus Two or will simply be a member of an extended Google Experience family is another matter entirely.
