Prepare for the Continuum instead

Samsung puts the kibosh on Nexus Two rumours
|

Last week saw the emergence of some exciting rumours surrounding the Nexus Two - the Google-approved follow-up to the Nexus One.

The big news was that it would be Samsung, not HTC, that would be getting the production rights. One source even claimed to have held the device.

But it’s now being reported that Samsung itself has denied the claims.

According to Korean website Danawa, a Samsung spokesman rejected the Nexus Two rumours as "simply not true."

Retracted

Rather than officially revealing a new Google Experience device, the November 9th Samsung press conference will reportedly reveal the Continuum – an Android handset with a second, smaller screen (called a “Ticker”) for displaying essential information such as stock prices.

I don’t know about you, but I find that a whole lot less exciting.
