Welcome back to Pocket Gamer's round-up of the latest iPhone and iPad mid-week releases.

As you should all know by now, we produce this weekly article because we're simply too busy to bring you a story on every single new mid-week release.

To be blunt, the App Store has had better weeks, but we can still welcome the arrival of the excellent-looking Unreal Engine 3-powered The Dark Meadow and a host of other fun titles.

These games are in the New Zealand App Store right now, which means that you should be able to grab them in the UK and US from around midnight tonight.

iPhone Rocket Claw

Rocket Claw tasks you with saving perilous astronauts as they float dangerously through space, by grabbing them with your claw.

The game's three modes - Endless, Survival, Time Attack - are also filled with aliens, comets, and a selection of other hazards that you'll need to destroy, with space crystals allowing you to upgrade your machinery.

Apple's soon-to-be updated Game Center is supported for leaderboards and achievements.
