The App Stork: Introducing Meanwhile, Poodle Invasion and Steamballs...

It's App Stork time! Here he comes, swooping in to deliver all the latest news regarding new iPhone releases.

He picks up all his discoveries from the Pocket Gamer forums - or to be more precise, the iPhone and iPod touch developer section.

On with this week's games...

Circles filled with different shapes and patterns expand onto the screen, and your job is to pop them with your finger before the screen fills up.

However, you can only pop black circles. Swiping your finger across will change the bubbles' colours, allowing you to pop even more. It all gets a bit hectic once lots of different colours start to appear, and you'll need a quick finger to dispatch them all.

Grey circles can also be popped to release bonus points. Meanwhile is available in the App Store now for 99c / 59p.

Poodle Invasion - Frederico Machuca The poodles are attacking, and it's up to your Green Thing to fall out of the sky and take them all out. While you're at it, why not dress him up in silly outfits bought using your poodle-destroying cash? Yes, this is all incredibly silly and pointless, but hilarious at the same time. Poodle Invasion is available to download for 99c / 59p.

Steamballs - Digital Worlds Steamballs takes the match-three genre and throws a load of pool balls into the mix. Dropped onto pistons below, the idea is to balance them up and create chains of the same colour, bursting into steam.

Special balls will drop down, giving extra points and multiplier, along with hindrances like bomb balls. As long as you balance the balls well, you'll survive long enough to see out a huge score.

OpenFeint high scoreboards and achievements finish off the package. Steamballs is available for $2.99 / £1.79.
