Need for Speed Shift 3D now on BlackBerry Storm 2

If you have a BlackBerry, you probably didn't buy it to play games. But that hasn't stopped EA from chucking a full 3D racer onto the business savvy device.

Need for Speed: Shift 3D is likely to be the most graphically intensive game for BlackBerry yet, with full 3D graphics and both in-car and behind view, and as such it's only compatible with the Storm 2 9550.

It uses similar controls to the iPhone version of Need for Speed: Shift as you tilt the accelerometer to steer, tap to break and swipe to boost.

The game features tracks in Chicago, London, Dubai, and Italy, a career mode, car personalisation and upgrades and five licensed motors, including the Mitsubishi Lancer, Nissan 370Z, Dodge Viper SRT10, BMW M3 GT2, Ford GT, Nissan GT-R, Lamborghini Gallardo, and Pagani Zonda.

The game is available now in Canada, Japan, and the United States for $9.99.
