If the idea of driving miniature cars around various indoor locations didn't tempt you initially, then perhaps the announcement from Sauce Digital of its first, "much anticipated" (the press release assures us) update for the iPhone racer Nano Rally will have you speeding towards the App Store.

With Nano Rally's 1.1 offering you can now enjoy various different features that were "much requested" in the original version, including Hard, Medium and Easy settings, racing lines and the promise of improved controls and layout.

The other new features include multiple camera modes (Rotate, Fixed Center, Pan), AI cars on track and a landscape mode.

It seems as though Sauce Digital has listened to fans of the 1.0 version and added in as much as it could to improve on the game we originally awarded a solid Bronze Award.

However, whether or not the changes will make a big enough difference to Nano Rally remains to be seen, but it does seem like a grand effort and one that should see the game finish somewhere on the podium once again.
