Namco celebrates Independence Day with iPhone and Android Sale
|

This year saw Pac-Man’s 30 birthday and, as the little yellow tyke moved from arrested development into full out adulthood, he released a whole bunch of games to celebrate his big day back in May earlier this year.

Namco describes the deluge of Pac-prefixed games as “Full PAC-MAN accessibility”, which sounds like the name for a secret world domination plan. He hasn’t done too bad, either. Over on Qualcomm Brew’s mobile platform, the semi-circular hero has passed 30 million paid downloads in North America. Quite the birthday present, I’d say.

Now, for Independence Day, Pac-Man is joining forces with the rest of his Namco mascot buddies, like Katamari’s Prince and Dig Dug’s Dig Dug, and celebrating the day with a massive selection of game sales on iPhone and Android.

Here’s the full list of sale items for iPhone and iPod touch. The price drop begins tomorrow, July 2nd, and will end on July 5th.
