Nokia is starting to crank up the launch campaign for Reset Generation, its hotly-anticipated N-Gage game, which will also be appearing on other platforms.

And it's those other platforms that are getting it first, with a single-player version of the game launching this Friday on PC gaming site FilePlanet, for that site's (paid) subscribers only.

Later next week, the game will be available to non-subscribers on FilePlanet, while Nokia says the full Reset Generation Launch is set for 4th August.

We assume that means the N-Gage version too, with full cross-platform multiplayer goodness.

Reset Generation could help Nokia seize back some of the mobile gaming limelight from Apple, so we can't wait to see how it shapes up. Click 'Track It!' for more news and hands on thoughts on the game as it rolls out.
