Nokia and Capcom have announced the start of what both companies are hoping will be a beautiful relationship, with the latter set to publish its titles for the N-Gage platform, which launches later this year.

In doing so, Capcom becomes the first Japanese publisher to throw its support behind N-Gage, and with franchises such as Resident Evil, Mega Man (pictured), Street Fighter and Devil May Cry, Nokia could hardly have picked a better partner.

Capcom already commands a presence in the mobile sector, of course, but it will be interesting to see what the publisher achieves on N-Gage. No details as to which games we should expect first have been given, other than they will turn up at some point next year.
