US to get the latest gumshoe gaming experience first on the DS

E3 2008: Mystery Case Files: MillionHeir Slated For September

Seek-and-solve games are particularly well-suited to the Nintendo DS, and there's been more than a few detective games recently to prove it. In this latest addition to the Mystery Case Files series, you once again climb into a pair of casual gum shoes and attempt to solve the case of a missing heir to a million dollar fortune.

The game is built up of beautifully detailed scenes you're required to carefully investigate to determine who the money belongs to. Seamlessly hidden within these locations are over 1000 clues to lead you to the rightful heir and earn your private eye fees.

This is also the first of the Mystery Case Files games to incorporate a multiplayer function, allowing gamers to search for clues together or go head-to-head in a detective showdown.

As you can see from our video trailer of MillionHeir, the DS looks to be perfectly suited to such explorative, film-noir gameplay and promises an absorbing casual experience for any aspiring pocket detective.
