Location-based freemium city build-'em-up MyTown 2 live in the Canadian App Store

If you're a fan of Booyah's location-based check-in game MyTown, you'll probably be pleased to read that sequel MyTown 2 is live on the Canadian App Store, complete with a new approach.

Instead of focusing on check-ins - like its predecessor - MyTown 2 allows you to create your own town in a CityVille-like manner, using real-world buildings, businesses, shops, and salons from your surrounding area.

Once built, your in-game business will start to produce bundles of cash. Check-in to the real-world business, and you'll be granted a perk, such as a speed boost and an increased payout.

You can also spruce up your town with a variety of decorative items, upgrade your businesses, and complete quests for rewards.
