My Xbox Live for iPad gets remote functionality and more in update
|

Early last month, Microsoft updated the iPhone version of its My Xbox Live application with remote functionality, which allows you to connect to your Xbox 360 and control your content using your smartphone.

Yesterday, the Redmond-based giant introduced remote functionality to the iPad, too.

The small update also lets you use your iOS-powered tablet to quickly access an overview of your console activity, and launch your recently opened applications with a simple tap.

Finally, you can access on-screen play, pause, fast forward, and rewind media controls while you're watching Twilight, the latest Tomb Raider trailer, or whatever else tickles your fancy.

My Xbox Live is available from the App Store for free.
