Tell your DS all your closely guarded thoughts in My Secret World

More than your average diary...

Tell your DS all your closely guarded thoughts in My Secret World

My Secret World was announced a while back, along with a slew of other Imagine games from Ubisoft. But Ubisoft has unveiled a bit more about the game/diary since. Some of which you might be interested in. Especially if you're a 13-year-old girl.

As Ubisoft itself says, it's more than just a diary. My Secret World is not only going to let users 'express themselves' within its 150 (touchscreen) page diary, it also comes packs with quizzes, mini-games and wi-fi options.

There are 48 of these quizzes in total, which cover pretty much everything from how you feel about yourself, others and the world. And probably boys, too, if they're anything like the quizzes in Just17 I used to while many an hour away filling out to discover my chances of scoring with Jason Donovan. Your answers will then affect a personality profile, which the game keeps track of.

On the social side, the game's Share mode lets up to four players take part in mini-games, lets friends discover the secrets you've chosen to share with them, allows you to take group quizzes to see how alike you all are and gives you more quizzes to see how well you know one another.

Online, you'll even be able to chat whenever you like using the game's voice chat function.

The whole thing is fully customisable, too. You can tweak the pages of your diary with more that 500 items that include backgrounds, photos, stickers and pins, and also design avatars of you and your friends. You're also able to create up to 30 friends cards detailing your friends' nicknames, hobbies and so-on.

Essentially it sounds like a dream come true for any 'tween' girl. Easy as it might be to mock the seemingly endless barrage of casual titles that spring up for DS, Ubisoft could well be onto a winner with this one. It's due out on September 19th so expect to see gaggles of giggling schoolgirls everywhere clutching their pink DS Lites in the weeks that follow.
