Falling on the first Monday in September, Labor Day is either a time for the kids to grudgingly step back onto the school bus or a time for American Naval officers to stop wearing white and start wearing blue (thanks, Wikipedia).
It's also a public holiday, which means several iOS publishers are holding game sales to capitalise on the mood of celebration.
Strictly speaking, not all of the sales that have gone live this week are related to Labor Day. Some are being billed as 'back to school sales', or simply 'September sales'. But, as the saying goes, they all come out the same colour.
Each sale will only last for a limited time, so if you see something you fancy it's best to go and grab it right away. We'll update this post with more sales as we hear about them.
