iOS 5 - the operating system feature bump for up-to-date iPhones, iPod touchs, and iPads - is now available to download, and it comes with about 200 or so nifty new features to enjoy.

Mirroring your iPad to your TV has been a built-in feature since the iPad 2 debuted: but so far only over HDMI. iOS 5 lets you take your iPad 2 and your iPhone 4S, hook them up to an Apple TV, and stream their screens wirelessly to your plasma. Here's how.

On your Apple TV hit Settings> AirPlay and then turn this feature on (you can set a passcode, too). Now your iPad or iPhone should have the AirPlay icon in supported apps like Music, Videos, and YouTube.
