ThinkGeek begins selling NES-esque iCade 8-Bitty controller peripheral for iOS and Android devices

Back in January, iCade creator Ion Audio announced three new iPhone and iPad controller peripherals: the iCade Mobile, iCade Jr., and iCade Core.

If none of those tickle your fancy, though, website ThinkGeek is currently flogging a retro NES-style controller designed for iPhone, iPad, and Android devices.

Entitled iCade 8-Bitty, this battery-powered add-on features eight physical buttons, including a traditional D-pad, two shoulder buttons, Start and Select buttons, and four front-facing action buttons.

Since it's an iCade product, it's already compatible with over 100 App Store games and applications, such as Atari's Greatest Hits collection, Muffin Knight, and Mos Speedrun.

The iCade 8-Bitty controller will set you back $24.99 from ThinkGeek's website.
