Back in March, Introversion Software used Twitter to drop hints that cult hacking simulation game Uplink could soon be available for Android-powered smartphones and tablets.

It's still not available on Google's mobile platform just yet, but you can download it from Apple's App Store for your iPad. Well, providing you have £2.99 / $4.99, that is.

In Uplink, you take on the role of a secret agent, who performs hacking jobs for large corporations. Basically, you'll be breaking into secure systems, stealing data, sabotaging software, and more.

We can also now confirm that Uplink will be making its way to Android "soon".
