Claymation adventure game The Neverhood possibly making its way to mobile platforms

The Neverhood, a claymation adventure game released by Dreamworks Studios for PC back in the forgotten times of 1996, might be on its way to a variety of mobile platforms.

That's if developer Bazinga Studios can successfully negotiate the licensing contract to do so.

In The Neverhood, you take on the role of the protagonist Klaymen, who awakens in a nursery. After discovering your escape route, you're tasked with navigating multiple rooms and solving puzzles.

While details are scarce, the port - if made - will presumably land on the iPhone and iPad, a bunch of Android devices, and maybe even Windows Phone.

We'll keep you updated, but in the meantime check out the video for a look at the action.
