Welcome back to Pocket Gamer's round-up of the latest iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad mid-week releases.

As you all probably know by now, we produce this article each week because we're simply too busy to bring you a story on every single new game that hits the App Store.

These games have recently hit Apple's New Zealand outlet, meaning they should be available to download in the UK and US from around midnight this evening.

My Little Hero
By NCSoft - buy for iPhone

My Little Hero follows a young boy as he travels through forests, deserts, and swamps in search of his friend Pinky, who's been kidnapped by the evil Boogeyman.

You'll meet several enemies and even bosses throughout your journey, but you do have upgradable weapons and armours at your disposal.

Animal Trackers
By Dave Alder - buy for iPhone

In Animal Trackers, you take on the role of Team Tracker - a group of animals who've been challenged by Team Quarry to a hide-and-seek competition of sorts.

Naturally, Team Quarry isn't going to make things easy for you, so you may have to overcome some tricks and traps en route to your goal.

The King of Fighters i 2012
By SNK Playmore - buy for iPhone

The King of Fighters i 2012 is a beat-'em-up (naturally) featuring 32 playable brawlers and six different game modes: Single Battle, Team Battle, Endless, Challenge, Time Attack, and Training.

Plus, you can challenge other players from around the world via wi-fi.

Lego Harry Potter: Years 5-7
By Warner Bros. - buy for iPhone and iPad

It's finally here. Lego Harry Potter: Years 5-7, which was originally slated for release around last year's holiday season, sees you take control of infamous wizard Harry (and plenty of other characters from the franchise) and relive the events of J.K. Rowling's last three Harry Potter books.

Free Play mode is still alive and kicking, meaning you can replay any of the game's levels using your favourite characters, such as Professor Snape, Kingsley Shacklebolt, and even Lord Voldemort.

Rocket Fox
By Namco Networks - download for iPhone and iPad

This free-to-play action-puzzler thrusts you into the role of Guy, who - along with his faithful fox friends - has to protect the world by ensuring the manic Grand Marshal doesn't turn flowerockets into weapons.

You have to thwart the Grand Marshal's attempts across 60 unique levels - all of which offer chances to earn Game Center achievements.

Tractor Trails
By Origin8 - buy for iPhone and iPad

In this particular puzzler, you guide a tractor called Red around a farm in order to plant trees. You have to pick your path carefully, though, as Red doesn't have any brakes.

Thankfully, you can upgrade your tractor's abilities, which should help you tackle each of the game's 130 levels.

Robbery Bob

By Chillingo - buy for iPhone and iPad

Robbery Bob sees you control the eponymous bumbling thief, who's forced to pull off a few final tasks before he can leave his dubious job behind for good.

Basically, you have to sneak past security guards, residents, and pesky dogs; grab yourself some loot; and get your backside out of there undetected.

By Triniti Interactive - buy for iPhone and iPad

MiniFlyer is an endless-flying game that lets you strap on a jetpack and shoot yourself into the far reaches of outer space. You can even ditch your jetpack and pilot four varieties of mech, which can be upgraded.

Game Center is present and accounted for.

By Lonely Few - buy for iPhone and iPad

Brainsss is a zombie-filled RTS title in which you take control of a bunch of baying flesh-eaters rather than their exterminators.

You have to guide your undead army through a variety of locations, helping them to avoid dangers and find their next juicy meal.
