Still playing Sonic Dash? Then, you'll be interested to learn that Sega has launched the second Sonic Dash global challenge.

Back in July, we reported on the first Sonic Dash challenge, which required players to work together and run 100 laps of the world in order to unlock a new playable character, Shadow.

In this second challenge, you simply have to get the best score possible. Not only will you be contributing to an overall total, but you'll also have a personal target to reach.

The prize for this second challenge is another new playable character, Blaze the Cat.

For those unfamiliar with Sonic lore, Blaze made her debut in the 2005 Nintendo DS exclusive Sonic Rush. Oh, and she's a purple cat princess, in case you were wondering.

As with the first Sonic Dash challenge, you can unlock prizes
at four stages throughout this second competition.

Better get dashing, then, for the deadline for this second Sonic Dash global challenge is October 6th.
