EA has updated its fast-paced Pocket Gamer Gold Award-winning racer Shift 2: Unleashed with two brand-new Quick Race Trial Cups and a host of other small additions.

The new Trial Cups mean you now jump into the driving seat of over 40 of the world's best cars and race through an additional ten events.

EA has also enhanced the game's menus with support for Apple's impressive Retina display technology, and treated your ears to some new tunes.

Finally, the HD iPad version of Shift 2: Unleashed now features HDMI-out, meaning you can connect to a TV or monitor and take the podium on your big screen.
