Sony unveils Crystal White and limited edition Hatsune Miku PS Vita handhelds

Japanese manufacturer Sony has unveiled two new additions to its PlayStation Vita handheld line-up: a Crystal White-coloured machine and a limited edition Hatsune Miku model.

Both of these will be available in Japan from June 28th. A wi-fi-only Crystal White Vita will cost ¥24980 and a 3G-enabled machine will set you back ¥29980, which is around $312 and $375, respectively. Sony hasn't revealed whether this Vita variant will actually make it to the Western market, though.

The limited edition Hatsune Miku, which is expected to hit Japanese store shelves two months after the Crystal White Vita, will set you back an additional ¥10000 ($125). For that, you get a console plastered with Sega's female protagonist, a 4GB memory card, and a copy of Hatsune Miku: Project Diva.

Again, we don't know if we'll ever see this Vita model on sale in the UK or US.
