The iOS version of Gameloft's Bronze Award-winning FPS Modern Combat 3: Fallen Nation has been updated with a new multiplayer mode and a whole lot more besides.
The big draw of the update is Team Manhunt, a Capture the Flag variation in which two teams battle it out to stay in control of the flag. The longer the flag is in a team's possession for, the more points that squadron earns. You probably could have guessed that, mind.
To complement this new Team Manhunt mode, Gameloft has added two new maps: the self-explanatory Warehouse, which first made an appearance in Modern Combat 2: Black Pegasus; and Rapture, an all-new map in which modern-day-style warfare erupts in a jungle village.
There's a new Stealth ability that dampens the sounds of your footsteps included in the update, too. Furthermore, Gameloft has introduced a new piece of equipment into proceedings in the form of a shield that lessens the damage you take when you're shot from behind.
If you can't wait to start shooting people armed with shields and quieter shoes, download the update to Modern Combat 3: Fallen Nation now.
