Developer Small Impact Games is using a Kickstarter-esque website called Indiegogo to try and raise $25,000, which will fund a beta release of sci-fi third-person iOS shooter M3CH.

Set in the 22nd century on a ravaged Earth, this Unreal Engine 3-powered title charges you with working your way out of the slums by competing in the M3CH arena - the home of a deadly tournament that pits you against the pinnacles of M3CH technology.

Naturally, you can customise your M3CH by choosing various classes, weapons, add-ons, and paint jobs, before jumping into battle against AI-controlled opponents or your real-world buddies.

M3CH will begin life on the iPhone and iPad, but will be ported to other platforms (including the PC) in the future. Small Impact Games plans to continually update this title with new game modes and features based on user feedback.

You can help to fund the project by heading over to M3CH's Indiegogo page.
