I had big plans for this weekend. Maybe go swimming for the first time in ages. Maybe even a trip to the zoo. Then, watch some Olympic tennis and get a well-deserved early night on Sunday.
Kairosoft was clearly aware of my laid-back plans, and decided: 'Hey, let's release yet another management game and make Mike sit down on his flabby arse and play our games some more.' Those conniving rascals.
Kairobotica is Kairosoft's new spacefaring RPG / management sim, in which you take control of the Kairobots and attempt to hold back numerous monsters and nasty people. Turn-based action is on the agenda, along with building up your base town and keeping the toughest nasties back.
Think along the lines of the wonderful
Epic Astro Story, and you'll get a pretty good picture of what to expect from this latest release.
As always, the best thing about this title is the hidden depth. The more you play, the more secrets you'll find and the more elements you'll experience. It's the Kairosoft way.
Android users can grab it now from
Google Play, while iOS users will have to wait a little while longer.

Yeah it has some turn-based, RPG style combat in it, although for the most part it's similar to your usual Kairosoft game. And yes, it has been optimised, works beautifully on my Nexus 7
