The App Store is already awash with titles that are based on the infamous Romance of the Three Kingdoms saga, but that doesn't seem to be putting developers off.

We've just received word that iDreamsky is working on Heroes of Three Kingdoms: The Rise of Chaos - an extremely colourful 2D action-packed title that sees you face off against enemies from the Three Kingdoms era of Chinese history.

Taking on the roles of several historical heroes - all of which have different classes, skills, and abilities - you're tasked with squashing the Yellow Turban Rebellion using simple taps and swipes of your device's screen. And over 100 different weapons, of course.

We don't currently have a release date for this title, but we'll let you know when we do.
