Nitrome's next game is Gunbrick, a blocky platformer headed to iOS and Android
In the future... people drive gunbricks?
Nitrome, developers of the Gold Award-winning Icebreaker: A Viking Voyage, have been releasing a series of video teasers for their upcoming game.
Now, that game has finally come to light.
It's called Gunbrick, an action-packed puzzle platformer set in a world where instead of cars, people operate giant gunbricks.
A gunbrick is, apparently, just a giant block equipped with a gun on one end and a shield on the other. The need for such a vehicle (if you can call it that) is still a mystery.
According to Nitrome's reveal post about it, "cars are obsolete" in the world of Gunbrick.
The post also hints at the game's "cunning puzzles" and "humorous cut scenes," which you can get a bit of a glimpse at in the trailer below.
Gunbrick is headed to iOS and Android, though there is no set release date.
Nitrome promise more info in the weeks to come.
