Grave Matters is a macabre twist on Minesweeper that's out right now on iPad and iPhone
Spook-mines
Grave Matters is sort of like Minesweeper. Albeit Minesweeper with terrifying robotic zombie monsters instead of mines, and evil grinning skulls instead of numbers.
You play a recently reanimated grave digger called Harey Burke, who along with his faithful dog sidekick, needs to shovel up energy cores from an assortment of graves.
Unfortunately you don't know which of the graves contain the sweet sweet energy, and which contain the aforementioned zombie robots.
Cue a vaguely steampunk-style game of puzzling. You tap to unearth a grave, and what you find within gives you some information about the ones surrounding.
Skulls mean a robot is nearby, but an empty hole tells you the other plots surrounding it are safe.
And obviously giant evil robot means you either lose the game or, more tragically, you lose your dog. It comes back if you survive for long enough without it though, so it's all fine.
The game is out right now, and it'll cost you £2.49 / $3.99 to pick it up. We reckon it's probably worth a cheeky gander as well.
