Future Publishing has opened the voting for its 29th annual Golden Joystick Awards, which heartily celebrates the best of the best in the world of gaming.

There are several categories up for debate, such as 'Best RPG' and 'Best MMO', but it's 'Best Mobile' that we're interested in here at Pocket Gamer Towers.

The mobile category includes titles like the Pocket Gamer Platinum Award-winning Real Racing 2 (which myself and Mark Brown have voted for), the Silver Award-winning Dead Space, and popular favourite Angry Birds Rio.

You also have the chance to vote for cute and cuddly Om Nom in Cut the Rope, Chillingo puzzler Feed Me Oil, classic brawler Street Fighter IV, and many more.

You decide

To have your say simply head on over to the Golden Joystick Awards website and start clicking away.

If you vote in each category - there are 14 in total - you'll even have the chance of winning a bunch of games, accessories, and consoles - PS Vita included.

The winners will be announced at a ceremony held at London's Westminster Bridge Park Plaza on October 21st.

Let us know who you've voted for in the comments section below.

Anthony Usher
Anthony is a Liverpool, UK-based writer who fell in love with gaming while playing Super Mario World on his SNES back in the early '90s. When he isn't busy grooming his beard, you can find him replaying Resident Evil or Final Fantasy VII for the umpteenth time. Aside from gaming, Anthony likes hiking, MMA, and pretending he’s a Viking.
