Interesting side-scrolling action-RPG God of Blades 'coming soon' to iOS

Back in November 2011, we posted a video for God of Blades - an interesting-looking Kickstarter project launched by independent developer White Whale Games.

The Texas-based dev has just pinged us an email to let us know that its action-RPG is "nearing the end of production", meaning it's "coming soon" to iOS, Mac, and PC.

If you aren't familiar with God of Blades, it's a 2.5D side-scrolling title set in a fantasy world. In it, you take on the role of a blade-wielding spectral king who sets off on a quest to save a dying world from oblivion. As you can see from the video below, this involves lots of "physics-driven" sword fights.

Basically, your weapons will clash with your enemies', shatter, and deal damage based on physics rather then scripted events.

God of Blades is "coming soon", so keep one eye on the App Store.
