Ubisoft is on a bit of a roll with its Ghost Recon news this week.

Following a day on from the official announcement of Ghost Recon: Commander, the French publisher has now revealed that it will be bringing a free companion app to browsers, iOS, and Android called the Ghost Recon Network.

The Ghost Recon Network will let you customise and publish weapons, track all your stats from both Future Soldier and GR: Online, as well as receive notifications of challenges and friend/community updates from the games.

Other Call of Duty Elite-style benefits include the ability to view heatmaps of recent battles, as well as manage your ‘squad’ (which we presume is the Ghost Recon version of clans) from within the app.

As an incentive to get everyone on board, Ubisoft will be handing over free credits for Future Soldier to everyone that uses the app.

The Ghost Recon Network is expected to launch at the same time as Future Soldier on the consoles, so keep your eyes peeled to Google Play, the App Store, and the official website on May 25th.
