Second Galaxy on Fire 2 expansion pack will hit iOS on August 30th
Champagne Supernova
Germany-based developer Fishlabs has revealed that Galaxy on Fire 2's second expansion pack, Supernova, will blast onto the App Store on August 30th.
Originally slated for release in Q2 of this year, Supernova has been postponed for a number of different reasons - namely, to give the game's developer enough time to implement content specifically requested by fans of the game.
Supernova also features an in-depth storyline that's "more extensive" than both Galaxy on Fire 2 and its first add-on pack, Valkyrie, combined. That hasn't helped matters much, either.
Furthermore, this second expansion will be released as a Universal build that will support a "vast" amount of different iOS devices, and is now packed with "more" original in-game music specially composed for the title.
Fishlabs has decided it will use the upcoming GDC Europe and Gamescom events to promote this second add-on a little more, before releasing it on iPhone and iPad in August.
