Germany-based developer Fishlabs has revealed that Galaxy on Fire 2
's second expansion pack, Supernova
, will blast onto the App Store on August 30th.
Originally slated for release in Q2 of this year, Supernova
has been postponed for a number of different reasons - namely, to give the game's developer enough time to implement content specifically requested by fans of the game.Supernova
also features an in-depth storyline that's "more extensive" than both Galaxy on Fire 2
and its first add-on pack, Valkyrie
, combined. That hasn't helped matters much, either.
Furthermore, this second expansion will be released as a Universal build that will support a "vast" amount of different iOS devices, and is now packed with "more" original in-game music specially composed for the title.
Fishlabs has decided it will use the upcoming GDC Europe and Gamescom events to promote this second add-on a little more, before releasing it on iPhone and iPad in August.
