The Sky Is Falling

By Ovine By Design - download for iPhone and iPad

In The Sky is Falling, your aim is to help the game's protagonist, Orange, make his way through a series of treacherous caverns.

You'll have to avoid the large boulder that's constantly on your tail as you sprint through each dark environment, and use your trusty spanner to smash falling stalactites into small pieces.

There are three different difficulty levels: Easy, Medium, and Hard.

Word Fusion

By AlgoCrunch - download for iPhone and iPad

Word Fusion is a fast-paced spelling game in which you move letters around a board to form words of varying length and power a magical chemistry set.

You can either jump straight into single-player mode and help protagonist Otto complete his experiments, or jump into one of the game's four multiplayer modes and compete against your friends.

You can even voice chat as you play.
