Farming Simulator 2012 riding onto iPhone and iPad in mid-July

German publisher Astragon Software and Swiss developer Giants Software have today announced that Farming Simulator 2012 will plough (oh, yes) its way onto the iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad in mid-June.

Much like in the recently released Farming Simulator 2012 3D for the Nintendo 3DS, this forthcoming title tasks you with using a diverse selection of powerful tractors and trailers from well-known manufacturers to tackle the everyday chores you'd come up against on a real-world farm.

As you work your backside off, tend to your fields, and sell the crops you harvest, you'll be able to purchase additional fields and invest in bigger and better equipment, which will be added to your ever-growing fleet of vehicles.

Farming Simulator 2012 will be available to download from the App Store sometime in mid-July.
