We told you earlier this week that iPhone and iPad shooter Epoch would blast onto the App Store "very soon". We now know that it will arrive locked and loaded on November 10th.

The Unreal Engine-powered action-combat title has been created by ex-Irrational Games developers Andrew James and Ed Orman, who previously worked on big console titles such as BioShock.

Set in a post-apocalyptic world, the aim of the game is to battle through a neverending war and attempt to solve the mystery behind the sudden end of your planet.

All combat is handled with flicks and swipes of your device's screen, which allow you to duck, dodge, and dive between cover and mow down your opposition.

Epoch will hit the App Store as a Universal app.
