Electronic Arts has beaten off stiff competition from the likes of Apple, GameStop, PayPal, and Sony to be voted the "worst company in America" by readers of customer watchdog website The Consumerist.
The publisher won (or lost, depending on how you look at it), taking 64.03 per cent of the final public vote.
EA's post-launch DLC packs, small developer buyouts, and buggy games were all cited as reasons for the publishers triumph.
Still, EA remains upbeat. In an interview with website Kotaku, EA's corporate comms chief John Reseburg brought attention to same-sex relationships in recent games such as Mass Effect 3 as proof that his company's not as bad as it's made out to be.
"We're sure that British Petroleum, AIG, Philip Morris, and Halliburton are all relieved they weren't nominated this year," Reseburg added.
"We're going to continue making award-winning games and services played by more than 300 million people worldwide."
