The next instalment in one of the world’s most popular mobile MMO series Legends will be the vampire-themed Dark Legends.

Set to hit iOS and Android in Q1 2012, Dark Legends delves into the world of blood-sucking vampires, blood-curdling demons, and hairy werewolves.

You're in for a scare!

This third entry in the Legends series is hoping to bring a new focus to the gameplay, with a mixture of fast-paced combat and quick action missions that use cut-scenes to immerse players into “the life of a vampire up-close and personal”.

“With each entry to the Legends franchise we raise the bar for the pick-up-and-play MMO space,” said Gary Gattis, CEO, Spacetime Studios.

“The changes between Pocket Legends and Star Legends were significant, but Dark Legends is a quantum leap forward in interactive storytelling.”

Dark Legends is due to make a public debut at the annual Games Developers Conference next month.

In the meantime, here's the teaser trailer.
