HeroCraft and iFree Innovations have announced that they've brought block-shifting PlayStation Network puzzler Cuboid to the iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad.

This bestselling puzzle game features 77 brainteasers - all of which charge you with flipping and rotating a cube in order to pass it through a mystical exit gate or portal.

Naturally, you have to do this in as few moves as possible, and try to avoid each level's range of dangerous drops and obstacles, including fragile tiles, switches, and teleports.

"Re-inventing a critically acclaimed game for mobile devices was a challenging task, but we felt that in the end Cuboid would greatly benefit from touch interfaces and the immense beauty of Retina displays," Kirill Petrov, iFree Innovations's managing director, said.

Cuboid is available on the App Store as a Universal app for free, but you can spend cash on a range of in-app purchases that are designed to speed up play.
