DogBox Studios and Publisher BulkyPix have announced that the 3D tower defence game Chicken Doom is set to land on iOS on the 28th June.

Chicken Doom follows the plight of a pair of Big Foots as they seek to save their homeworld from invading alien chickens (of course) out to steal their stockpile of corn.

Biggy and Bigguette must use upgradeable defensive turrets in six locales to hold off the gibbering horde of poultry. The turret can be kitted out with new weapons and armour as well as five power-ups such as Fire and Lighting to keep them away from the corn stash.

The game features a single-screen co-op mode as well as optimisation for all my fellow lefties out there. The flightless wonders planetary invasion begins on the 28th June.
