PopCap's puzzler Candy Train has successfully chugged into the New Zealand App Store as a universal app, meaning it'll be available in the UK and US from around midnight.

Candy Train tasks you with driving a locomotive around a track while collecting pieces of candy which are popping up unexpectedly.

Unfortunately for you, the guy who built the track wasn't the sharpest knife in the drawer and it doesn't quite line-up.

To complete your mission, you'll have to drive your train and simultaneously piece together sections of the track.

If you're too slow, you'll meet a bittersweet demise.

PopCap is the developer behind previous iPhone hits Plants vs Zombies and Peggle, each of which picked up a prestigious Pocket Gamer Gold Award at review.

Keep your eye on the App Store from midnight.
